Had the good fortune on Saturday night to spot two artificial satelites moving along side each other,in the same direction ie,Within the width of a little finger nail of an outstreched arm they were.Poetry in motion 20 or so seconds before they faded from view.Life is full of surprises for sure, more so under the sky blanket.

I saw three moving in unison on Sat night. Was a neat sight! I have heard of them but not seen them before.

Be good to know which direction your sighting was moving Jacquie. The pair I picked up on were moving in a Northerly motion .

Also saw them on Saturday night around 22.48 Eastern Summer Time, they were in Dorado, just above the LMC. Travelling in a northerly direction about 30 arc minutes apart, the 3rd one was about a degree behind and also travelling in the same direction, they disappeared when nearing Orion.

First time in over 45 years of Astronomy I have seen a sight like this although I tend not to do visual these days.

Cheers
