Hi all,I was wondering if anyone can suggest a couple of nice and easy to find "DSO plums"for me to try and find tonight?
I have ok views from due North/South and West(anything Easterly is blocked).
So far I(think)I have found:Tuc47-M42-M35-M31-M79-M78-M44-NGC330-NGC362 plus other damn faint thingys that I have no idea what they are??
Any ideas would be really appreciated!
Cheers--Eric

10"er, eh! Give these a fang:

*NGC 253 in Sculptor, gal. a nice fat streak
*Grus quartet of gal's, NGC 7599 et al. 4 nice gal's, three easily visible
*NGC 55 in Sculptor, irr. gal. about same size & shape as 253, but different structure.
*The Tarantula neb. and environ in the LMC. Stunning in any scope.
*NGC 1553 & 2549 in Dorado, two nice gal's, with 1553 showing nice structure.

These will all challenge and thrill!

Oh, and don't forget Neptune & Uranus. These are really neat to find, with Neptune near Jupiter. Use this chart to help out:
