Next max for Mira

Can anyone tell me (or point me in the right direction to find) when Mira is next at maximum brightness? Google has let me down badly :confuse3: :help: and I can't find a straight answer.

Here's a link to the AAVSO bulletin which has predicted maxima and minima for Long Period Variables.

Read the instructions on how to use the bulletin. Unfortunately the latest bulletin covers to the end of 2005 only. You could add 332 days to the last maximum.

Here is an article about Mira which has maxima predictions but, again, stops at April 2005!

Thanks for that. Still not an easy find....but it did tell me that it is expected to be at minimum on 9th Dec 2005 so that is still useful info.
