Anyone have a Lymax Cat Cooler , looking for thoughts/experience .With summer coming up and nights getting shorter the thought of waiting for a SCT {yes i could get a Dob ;) } to cool itself down after a day in a garage isn't ...well...cool .
Cheers
PS : one drawback that i'm worried about is potential dust contamination :confuse3:

I've been thinking about asking this question myself, lately. I have seen the Lymax cooler and there is an article on a DIY SCT cooler here:

Like beren, I'd be concerned about dust ingress to the OTA. I'd be really interested in any comments from someone who has such a cooler.

Stuart OPT sells the Lymax and its filters. I am going to get one of these to cool my new 9.25. The filters use dacron and are dust collectors. Still I would be interested also to find out more.
