As posted on http://www.skeptics.com.au/
"The 2010 Australian Skeptics National Convention will be held in Sydney. Six years after the last time Sydney hosted the convention, and 10 years after the World Skeptical Convention III in 2000, this will not be an ordinary convention; it will be an international event in the true sense of the word. Not only will our speakers come from all over the world, but so will many of the delegates, and we expect more than 500 of those.

The convention is organised in collaboration with the James Randi Educational Foundation, and following the great success of The Amazing Meetings (known as TAM) in Las Vegas and recently in London, will be called TAM Australia. We already have a venue which many of you will appreciate — the Sydney Masonic Centre — and a tentative list of topics, speakers and performers.

Confirmed speakers include the entire cast of ‘The Skeptics Guide to the Universe’ podcast (Dr Steve Novella, Jay Novella, Bob Novella, Evan Bernstein and Rebecca Watson), the skeptical author and podcaster of ‘Skeptoid’, Brian Dunning and singer George Hrab. More names, both international and Australian, will be added soon.

We are also delighted to announce that James Randi himself fully intends to be with us at the convention.

We hope to see you all among the hundreds of delegates, in Sydney, on the weekend of 26th–28th of November 2010."

I wish them all the best but, frankly, I'm skeptical about their chances. :P
