The telescope is great. Optics are in perfect condition. I have not had time to use it much and am now moving overseas midway through next year so need to sell it. Great first telescope!

Also I have Starry night pro 6 (Macintosh version) as part of the package. So you can control the telescope through the software. - $165 new

What size is the scope?

Hi Frank,

The lx90 is an 8" schmidt cassegrain. It is very similar to the brand new lx90 that you can see on the meade website.

But its the older model without GPS. To me GPS is really just a gimic as all you do is type in your location/time. Then undo the wheel locks and click 1 or two star alignment. Then manually set the telescope on the star you chose and away you go. Much faster i think.

But just to let you know this is the older model. (no GPS) and is the UHTC model not the Advanced coma free.
