Hi all
On the morning of the 17th September 2009, I was headed out to Terrigal beach on a lovely clear pre-dawn morning to photograph the conjunction of the Moon and Venus (http://www.mikesalway.com.au/2009/12/07/venus-and-the-crescent-moon-conjunction-at-terrigal).
When the sky became too bright for the conjunction, I took advantage of the lovely colours of the dawn to capture some images of the sunrise and a few impromptu waterfalls as large waves crashed over the rock ledges near by.
The pre-dawn colours were magnificent, as they reflected off the surface water on the rock ledges.
The images were captured with my Canon 20D and Sigma 17-70mm lens, and were all 3-exposure bracketed shots, processed as HDR (tonemap) using Photomatix. Final processing using Photoshop.
In the final shot, a rather large wave sent a rush of water over my waterfall - turning it from a trickle into a torrent. And yes – my feet got rather wet during this shot :)

Thanks for looking.
