Based on its surface area and assuming the old rule of thumb of 90% below the surface, allowing for for melting and "calving", I estimate that by the time it reaches Perth, it could be expected to yield 86,548,367,912.3 frozen Daquiris.

There was a plan during WW2 to use man-made icebergs as aircraft carriers. They were to be made out of "Pyecrete" a mixture of sawdust and ice and some other stuff.
But at 19 klicks long by 8 wide, I wouldn't think you'd bother. Its bigger than Lichtenstein.

Both. But I got that one from quite an old book years ago. It was titled something like "Secret Weapons of WWII: Ideas that never made it" or something to that effect.

I love QI:)
