Well I had U-beaut seeing conditions this morning! (4.30) 9/10..Best I've seen it for 12 months at least!

Slight haze/fog so trans. was about 8/10.

6" refractor plus toucam. 5 frames per sec....I must remember to double the length of the AVI when shooting at 5FS!!!:mad2:

I didn't muck with much in this pic, only sharpening in neatimage. Dont really like the green ring system but that's what I get for using the refractor. Time to couple that toucam to the 12.5" newt! ;)

Hey looking good, just needs some tweeking on the colour Asi.
Good image scale, did you use a barlow?

You'll get some awesome shots soon as Ringo climbs higher in the sky.
Obviously you'll get more frames to stack next time so image Quality will improve.

Hi Andrew.

Yes...I tweaked the colour in my other 2 saturn shots, but I think most preferred My 1st pic...the 1 with the bluey/green rings, so I left this one 'as is'....horses for courses.

Once I get the newt out I don't think I'll have this problem. Yeah, I use a barlow. Could do with a 5X powermate though.
