Hey guys, just came back from having a look from the jetty, looking at cairns in the distance, and saw a massive shooting star.. it flared up very brightly before it faded right near the horizon. it was falling in the SSW direction..

just wondering if anyone else saw this..

cheers,

sid.

There's so much space junk up there Peter, it could be anything falling back in.

I saw a huge one out here on Friday night, a brilliant flash that took about 4-5 seconds to burn out.
