I don't do much birding photography, but it is another part of nature photography that I do enjoy. Birds taken at Sherwood park, Brisbane. Macro taken at home in the gardens (it's a Chalcid wasp).

edit: the first image is a combination of one shot, exposed normally, and underexposed by 2 stops to help protect the highlights on the birds flanks. There was no way that digital capture was going to have enough DR to do it. The Chalcid shot was taken at 1.4:1 (tubes + 50mm). These wasps are quite small - around 6mm in length.
