My Very First Toucam Attempt!

Well, here it is, my first attempt with my Toucam!

I hope it worked out OK.

Very cloudy night but I had to try.
Captured on old PC, zipped, memory stick transfer to new PC, unzipped, Stacked in Registax.

I was so frustrated with my first over exposed attempts tonight, I deleted them all. :lol:

Fiddle with them in Photoshop John. I did with the first pic. The second one I forgot to and accidently left it how I captured it. It's a bit dark, but oh well, I'll get there. :lol:

Yep, EQ mount next!!!!
I am picking one up at Avandonks tomorrow (Saturday). It was made for a 16" Reflector so it should hold my 12".

Coz the seeing was so bad these are only 7 seconds of Avi each and stacked with no frames taken out. I gotta learn how to do that yet.

Well I hope it would be it was done with a much larger scope than I was using, and a lot better optics than the poor old 60mm refractor could ever wish for.:P

I have been off v8 supercarring and have missed this tread.

Great piccie, you should give the auto stiching a go, where you grab your video, break it up into say 20 individual images and stich them together into one big one.

Now, where is saturn and her five moons.

Davo, it's thanks to you that I was able to use the TouCam at all. I would never have worked out all those settings in registax!

Folks, Davo spent nearly an hour on the phone guiding me through Registax before Camp, then he showed me more in person at Camp, and I got him back on the phone only a couple of days ago and he talked me through more (whilst driving to the V8 car races).
