Just a quickie 11 by 20 second frames with equal number of darks stacked DSS processed CS3
unguided
slightly out of focus
taken at at 30-40 degree angle across a roof of the neighbours house average FWMH was about 7

Very nice for just 3 minutes Trevor, and without sounding nasty and not knowing Brett, keep at it yourself Mate. Your original image is very nice so imagine what you could get with a couple of hours exposure.

I agree with Doug that your original image has more accurate colours Trevor it just needs heaps more exposures of longer than 20 seconds now that you have the core you need to capture the fainter nebulosity. Keep it up mate !
