I had a lot of fun today under VERY wind conditions, lying down in the flower beds getting dirty. The good thing was, there was so much movement going on, the bugs didn't notice me.
Canon 400D and 18-55mm kit lens. All manual shooting. Daylight no flash.
Baz.
Obviously I have had no clear nights so......

Great stuff Barry, it really makes you realise just how much beauty there is in nature dooesn't it, even in the average garden.
Cheers,
Jason.

Great work. You're exposure and composition is going great guns and improved out of sight. Get that macro lens, maybe a flash, and look out bugs!

Nice shooting Baz. I am also eagerly awaiting your purchase of a dedicated macro lens (and perhaps a flash ;) ).
The little (I assume baby) mantis is intriguing - how small was he?

Dunno about legend. Do yourself a favour and Google LordV. You'll find his Flickr account pretty easily. He's brilliant!

Yeah, I've been talking to Brian a bit already over the last few weeks. I'm a big fan of his work.
Now you two...no arguing over who is a legend and who is not or so help me...... :argue:
