Jupiter, Orion and Moon from Austria

All going well ...waaay up North.
On my own now after friends headed back to Oz 4 days ago.
Am in Zell Am See in beautiful Austria, and last night could actually see stars from my bed .... from out the window. :)
Its the southern part of sky, still havet seen Polaris, but too cold and dark early.
Snapped these yday, last night and this am.

Looks a most scenic place Liz,

Interesting seeing Orion right way up and snow as well. Out here in far western NSW we have just come through a new all time record heatwave for November. Cold and snow must be a lot different for you also.

Yes, been watching bit of CNN (with Stan Grant) and they have been talking about record high temps!!
Yday went up cable car to 2000m - people skiing everywhere, wow, I dont see much of that!!
Really wanna catch Polaris tonight - last 2 nights I have eaten and wined and in bed by 6.30!! Head to Muncih tomorrow, so wont have much of a chance there.
Head back to Oz in 6 days.
