I want to get a meade goto scope.I only want an 8inch sct for portabilaty.Its only for visual not photography.Is the LX 90 a full goto or do i have to go for the LX 200?THANKS.

The LX90 in an 8inch is an awesome portable scope that will do well in most conditions. Yes, they are a full go to scope. Very easy to use.:)

I take it they have a 1.25" visual back.Is there an adaptor so i can us my 2" eye pieces?

You can get 2" SCT diagonals that will clear the forks on an LX90.(need a balance rail/weights as well).

LX90 is a good, portable scope. Celestron Nexstar SE is more portable but less stable. Another option is the Ioptron Mini-Tower with a Meade or Celestron ota.
