This applies NSW and SE QLD.
There is a dust warning for tomorrow , which will also be a stinker.
So if you want you mirrors to stay clean and dustless, cover them.

It's been very dusty here in Canberra today, but nothing like it was with the big dust storms about 2 months ago!
Cheers,
Jason.

ill say, freaky weather right now in adelaide, the sun went down like 40 minutes ago, and its still 38 C!!!!!!!!!! here you go again! cool light show but
I was riding home last night and couldn't work out it seemed to be getting darker all of a sudden.
When I got home I realised it was the dust building up on the visor of my helmet, never had that happen before.
Cheers

Mt Beauty, Very thick dust yesterday, I couldn't see across the valley and today looks much the same. My cars and everything else has a nice thick layer of red dust covering it but my scope is tucked neatly in bed with a cover on it in the observatory.
My silly wife has hung wet washing on the cloths line today so that should act lie a magnet and keep the scope clean.
You have to wonder some times.

Not much , if amy dust here at Newcastle so far , unless I missed it when I was in bed , sky looks very hazy though so I think their is dust but it's high.
Is bloody hot .... had the air cond running all night and got a shock when I went outside to get something from my garage .... like walking into an oven.

Not so silly Doug.
Once all her clothes have permanent blotchy red stains on them, she'll just have to go out and buy more.

Looking at the visible satellite image, it looks like it crossed the central/northern coast of NSW.
The dust is the gray area just north of the clouds.
