Slightly better conditions this morning, and the 742nm IR filter certainly helps a lot!

Very nice Anthony,

Lovely contrast and a wealth of detail, sort of makes me salivate a bit in anticipation of opposition.

Thanks Trevor, I've added some green and blue to make a colour image as well, but I think the IR image is still the better one.

I really had no idea "state of the art" for amateurs imaging Mars had come along so far. Thanks for showing - inspiring stuff!
