Got this last night during the storm.
It is only a 3 second exposure (good timing :) ), f8 and ISO 100. Used a Canon 10-22mm @ 22mm.

Are you going to submit it to Channel 9 and see if they show it during the news??

Andrew,
That's beautiful. I really like how well defined the individual arcs of the bolt are.
Somewhat like a tree trunk, branch and twig system.
Very good.

Ripper of a shot Andrew!!! Wow. By the time I got home last night (near enough 9pm) most of the storm was over and I was too knackered to bother trying to set things up...

Wow! That's one of the best lightning shots I've seen Andrew! Great stuff!
I had plans to try and get some shots myself, but I was in the middle of bottling home brew when the storm came through. Hopefully we'll get a few more this summer.
