Got the urge to re-decorate so trotted down to paint shop.
The number of euphemisms for 'Beige' are staggering.
My current favourites are:
Desert Sands
Autumn Morning (This could hit the Pink end of the spectrum as well)
Summer Heat
Corn Husk
and the ever-popular 'Magnolia'

Anyone got any others to hyperbolise this blandest most suicide-inducing of hues?:(

The following is courtesy of Wikipedia

"Ecru describes the shade greyish-pale yellow or a light greyish-yellowish brown. It is often used to describe such fabrics as silk and linen in their unbleached state. Ecru comes from the French word écru, which means literally 'raw' or 'unbleached'. In the 1930s and before, ecru was considered to be the same colour as the colour beige (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beige) (a synonym or alias for beige), but since the 1950s ecru and beige have been regarded as two different colours.

If beige makes you feel that way, why buy it. Add a bit of colour to your life....buy some pastels or earthier colours:D:D
