OK, full Moon. What to do?

Right, time for eyepiece Chess. :D

Suggestions for the pieces - which eyepieces? :confuse3:

And who is going to admit that they have a full Chess set of eyepieces? :ashamed:

Pawns: Celestron Nexstar Plossls (particularly 6mm)- simply woeful -easily sacrificed.

Rooks: Vixen LV 7,9, or 10mm. Straight-up solid performers.

Knights: TV Nagler 13T6's. Just seem to fit this piece.

Bishops: Pentax 10mm XW or 10.5 XL. Stately & graceful with hidden strenghts

Queens: TV 19 Panoptics. Best all round EP for anything really.

Kings: Either 17mm Ethos - Manly and powerful, but little room for eye-movement
or
Panoptic 41

Hi Erick, :)

So, I am putting you in the hot seat. Do you have a full chess set of eye pieces?

Binocular viewer, doubles up on eyepieces and just have to colour one set.;) I am close myself.

Cheers Marty

I reckon there must be enough unused GSO plossls out there to run a tournament. You get half a set with every scope. I had mine in a scope just long enough to work out I would never use them.

Peter, nice choices. LVs for rooks- yes.

Hardly half way! I have sixteen plus two with crosshairs/reticules. And there I think I'll stop.
