Hi all, This large crater of 114km, is close to the south pole.

Very interesting image Lester,
I reckon this is the pick of the bunch, very good resolution, nice and crisp with heaps of detail and probably a crater that doesn't get much coverage by amateurs.

Thanks Trevor, Al and Carl for your comments. I agree this is the best for clarity of the images I got that night. Although Pitatus is my favorite.

Wow Lester – now that is at a large image scale! The details in the slumped walls and the ridges and faces of the central mountain have come out very well indeed, amongst the best I’ve seen.

Yes, indeed well done Lester! I have been a lookin' at the area around Fra Mauro recently and perhaps you should have a look there - lots of interesting detail.:thumbsup:
