This is a stack of 100 images using a DSI II in nebulosity with my ED127 stacked with Registax. Finished in PS.
Not sure about the processing so comments are welcome.

Frank, the picture posted is very degraded by the jpg compression but it looks like your data is pretty good. If you could repost at a bigger file size. You can have up to 200KB max. I think your current post is around 20KB.

Hi Frank
+1 to what Marc said. The data does look good – focus seems sharp across the whole frame. Maybe experiment by using curves to reduce the harsh contrast between the brilliant white of Tycho and the deep blacks of the terminator. This would open up the mid tones to produce a smoother transition from the lights to the darks.

looks pretty good Dennis. Maybe try gaussian wavelets in Regi I sometimes find them not as harsh.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the thoughts. I was in Birr only a few weeks ago to have a look around.

Sorry Frank. Pity we didnt meet b4 now, by the looks of it we could have had a good music session in some of the pubs i play in!!
Sorry Dennis also. yep but that would have been the 3rd earl of rosse. Its a 72 inch reflector and was the largest scope in the world until the early 20th century.
