Been noticing a few posts around recently talking about oversampling, matching pixel sizes to magnifications, f-ratios etc. Wondering if someone can point me in the direction of a link to do more reading on it? Want to understand it a little better and how my current equipment is suited and also for possible future acquisitions.
How does it relate to guiding? And imaging?

Attached is an article I wrote a while back in 2006 for Sky & Space that will give you a pretty good idea about sampling, arcs secs per pixel etc....It pretty basic but enough to get you up to speed on the theory.

Good to see Chris is still alive and kicking :)
I have my own application which supplements CCD Calculator by providing some additional calculations. I hope to post the link shortly.

Yeah been out of it for a while. Have done no Astronomy/Astrophotography for a few years now. Life getting back to a point I have time again so back into it. Lucky I did not sell any of my gear.
A heck of a lot has changed equipment wise since in 3 years. So much choice now its awesome

Thank you for the link Chris - I'll digest this over the next few days. About to have a lot of free time on my hands :-)
