Hi Beren, nice detail, especially on the paired mars shots - the north polar hood is very clear! Did you do these with no tracking?

cheers,

Thanks Robert, yes they where done on a tracking scope with the Sat/Mars group through a Meade LPI and the the other one through a ToUcam . The ToUcam ive only recently got and still waiting for a adaptor so efforts a haphazard .The mars shots with the LPI i wanted to see if the Badder ir/uv filter that came with the Toucam would make any difference but i couldnt see anything different from previous experiance...... :) Cheers

*@!!!!!!^(((!@!####

thats the one i could not get to work except for a 12mm plossl!!!! The 25mm and 40mm were too big.

I did buy a digi t ring so that you could put any eyepiece in.

At the end of the day i have found out that at prime focus is good for about 200x mag and then eyepiece projection will increase that, but i need a longer extension tube. My gut feel is that the steep light cone of my f5 next is the cause of the problem!

I see you have the modded toucam, have you tried raw mods and long exposures yet???
