View Full Version here: : Florence
Saw this beautiful sunrise yesterday am, in beautiful Florence, so hurtled down to The Ponto Vecchio bridge for a multitude of pics.
Having a ball over here :)

:hi: Hi Liz, We miss you.
Gorgeous sunrise. The colours are so pretty.
I've been thinking of you. How are you enjoying your time. Are you seeing everything you wanted? Has the weather been kind? What's the night sky like there. How strange must it be not to have our Southern constellations over head. :D
Hey jjj .... yep, having a ball. Weather about 24s and gorgeous. Too much food and wine being indulged in, but very much enjoyed.
Yes, peering out my window into some Northern constellation, and with some help from Stellarium, I worked out a couple.
A nice view of Jupiter last night aside the Moon, next to Leaning Tower of Pisa!!!!
Our apartment is right on one of the main Piazzas, so a bit of light around.
Few more days here then head to Venice on Saturday. Couple of damp days in Rome a few days back.

Did you still manage to get some photos in Rome?
What bliss, all that history.
Hi Liz,
Given you took this beautiful image at sunrise, I can see you are making the
use of every hour of your trip.
It is a spot I have visited many moons ago, so I am familiar with it, but your photo
presents it in what is for me a new and beautiful light.
On a technical note, when you get back you might consider giving it a slight tweak
of 'rotate' in PhotoShop. Your inner ear was probably compensating for a visit to
Pissa. :)
Keep 'em coming, take care and have a great journey!

Hi Liz... that is my city, where I born and come from :)... and missing it sooo much!!! Just a quick note... is Ponte Vecchio (not Ponto), means Old Bridge.
BTW beautiful picture.
Cheers
