Clearing out some of my seldom used gear. OPtec F3.3 Maxfield reducer
(2" to T-thread).

Perfect glass, but a couple of slight scuff marks on the barrel from 2" eyepiece holders. I'm guessing $US300 to replace, but $A 200 will keep me (and the wife) happy.

Yes I have been to the Optec site. I already have the 0.5X reducer but the spacing from the chip is critical so depending on what camera is being used and whether a filter wheel is being used will determine what spacers are needed.

Hmm, I gather it will not be useful for my Canon 5D DSLR camera on a Celestron Ultima 8inch?

Check here Ken.

The maximum corrected field is only 9mm, way to small for a DSLR. Small CCD only, ST7, ATiK16IC, etc

I went to that site. It was that bit about the 9 mm field at the image plane I wanted clarified.
Many thanks
