My 150mm x 750mm ebay telescope works reasonably well for beginner standards, but the sloppiness in the el cheapo fucuser puts the collimation out easily. I have scoured the astronomy shops on line, and have only found the 2" super duper 10:1 focusers at $129. Way too much overkill.

I figure there may be a few people out there who have upgraded their old perfectly good 1 1/4" focuser for the super duper 2" focuser, and the old one is lying abut gathering dust. Well here is your opportunity to send it to a good home.

If its for a larger OTA then tha's OK, i reckon i can pack it out with some washers and make it fit.

Will even be prepared to pay actual money.

If you are still looking Bintel do a pretty basic one for $49.00

https://www.bintelshop.com.au/ then goto to ATM supplies page

If that looks ok I think I have the same one somewhere in the garage you can have for post and packing at cost or free pick up during business hours in the city.

Hi Chris,
Thanks, looked at the bintel device, definitely better than the one i have. So, who knows what ATM actually stands for? I'm trying to make a point of budget astronomy - so if you have such a focuser that looks like that i'd likevery much to recycle it. I don't get into the city much, so post sounds like a good idea.
