SBIG STL11000M CCD astro camera
The SBIG STL11k is the defacto standard amongst the top-end astro imagers presenting a full 35mm frame with self-guiding capabilities. This camera has been meticulously maintained and served me exceptionally well. It is a reluctant sale, however as I have purchased another CCD astro camera I don’t envisage this camera will get much use in the future. NGC6188 (http://cosmicphotos.com/gallery/image.php?fld_image_id=103&fld_album_id=11) and Orion's belt (http://cosmicphotos.com/gallery/image.php?fld_image_id=175&fld_album_id=9) are just a couple of sample images providing an insight into the camera's capabilities, more can be found on my web site.
This package includes;
SBIG STL11000M CCD astro camera
35mm format, 11 Megapixel Class 2 Monochrome CCD
Built-in 657 x 495 TC-237H Guiding CCD for Self-Guiding
Port for optional Remote Guide Head
Built-in 5-position, 50mm filter wheel - see fitted filters below
2" nose peice
Two stage TE cooling
Built-in 12VDC voltage regulation for field operation
Universal power supply for 90-240VAC operation
Serial guide cable, USB cable
Tough Pelican carrying and storage case
Custom Scientific Filters (all IR blocked) - filter info (http://www.customscientific.com/astronomy.html)
50mm unmounted C,R,G,B (installed)
50mm unmounted 10nm Ha (installed) - 10nm you can self-guide with relative ease in 2x2 bin on guide chip!
CCDSoftV5 camera control software (w/license key)
For the wide field aficionados with glorious Canon lenses, I'm going to include the SOCAL EOS-STL adapter (http://www.socalastro.com/images/eos_stl/EOS-STL.htm). This will allow EF lenses to be directly attached to the STL11k for wide field work.
...and...
To couple the camera to a Takahashi scope, I'm providing the STL to Tak 72mm male thread adapter which screws to the face of the STL camera replacing the nose peice for a rigid, no flexure mounting. This is the Feldstein #6 (TCD00017) adapter mentioned in the Tak imaging train info.
AU$7,600 + postage.
Please note that there will be a three week delay before I can ship the camera as I'm heading OS and will not get an opportunity to get to my dark sky site to pick it up. So camera will ship to you mid November at the latest.
All enquires via PM. Thanks.
