GAA have stepped up to the plate and are going our bit for IYA with:

The Galilean Astronomy Nights

This:

Thursday Night 22nd Oct: Astronomy at the PUB - Outside the Arnhem club on the corner opposite the club from 6:30 pm

Friday Night 23rd Oct: Astronomy by the Sea - At the Surf Club from 6:30 pm

Sat Night 24th Oct: Astronomy in the Dark - At our dark site on Dhupma road 1.3 km off the bitumen from 6:30 pm

I am sure it will be fun for all involved !

UNENTAS helped the Astro Soc. of Coonabarabran with theirs, the public were enjoying the moment right up until and a little after the lawn sprinkler affair! Okiescopey was there too with his scope and it was quite an enjoyable night!
