Two small, quick shots of these two galaxies with DSI II and C8 with f6.3 corrector. Each is 15x4min stack in Nebulosity. Thought I would try for something off the beaten track.
Comments welcome

Allan seem to be a tracking issue are you using a guide scope
apart from this all they need is probably longer exposures considering their VM of 12 and 10 respectively

Good shots, I'm not sure if it's tracking or field curvature that I'm seeing though. Interesting looking galaxies.

It was hot pixels that my darks didnt remove in the shot that gave the impression of elongated stars, after removal it looks better. I did say they were quick shots (in processing)

Thanks for the comments guys. I have gone through the NGC/IC catalogue and sorted out all the galaxies above a certain diameter and magnitude as well as being either photogenic, in groups or just plain odd. Then I have downloaded the images and put them into Astroplanner. I then look at whats up andm going to slowly image one or two a night. Works for me and I think it will be doable.
