Nice one Sean!
Was that hand-held, or using an adapter to hold the camera?
Cheers,

Well done Sean,
Some nice crisp detail present in this image.
With the Moon it is always a compromise with the exposure, trying not to washout the bright regions while trying to not make the darker regions to dark.
This is a nice effort but you could have, maybe, gone for a fraction longer exposure.

Thankyou, It was hand-held.
It was a non-exposure image because I used a Dobsonian.
Thankyou, although I need to improve my re-processing

Nice work!! Great details.
By exposure Quark means, you could allow more time on the image. eg 30secs. He may have missed though, that you are using a Point and shoot not a DSLR, so I would image you can not do long exposures...
Your exposure time looks fine to me though.
You could definately pull out more detail, through processing, as you said.
This is a quick re-work. Not necessarily better, just my view.
Slight sharpen, Curves, Switched to B&W (to remove halo), Contrast adjust and Noise reduction.
Turned out alright, your initial shot is tops though!!
Keep 'em coming!!

I have adjusted the brightness and contrast and I have also sharpened it, but the curve is hard to get right.
