Still going through images from NZ trip back in September. Here's one from Milford Sound. Shame the weather was absolutely horrible for us. Hard enough exposing for snow capped peaks, let alone clouds making things worse.

I hear ya, we were there earlier this year and it poured the whole time we were out on the boat (makes it tough to get a clear shot) and it snowed so much we were stranded for 3 nights. Awesome place though.

Troy, a wee fact for you.
Milford Sound is known as the wettest inhabited place in New Zealand and one of the wettest in the world, with a mean annual rainfall of 6,813 mm on 182 days a year. :thumbsup:

Another fact we learned, it's not even a Sound, it's a Fiord (or however you want to spell it) :)

We had great weather in Christchurch and Kaikoura, but then driving down the west coast it rained pretty much the whole way. Last 5 nights in Queenstown skiing were decent weather again with rain only one day. Not complaining, I know they get heaps there. Beautiful country.
