Hi all,

Not sure if you guys have already done this. Although, from another forum, we are trying to get a group order on the galeioscope's from the states

http://forums.atomicmpc.com.au/index.php?showtopic=21923

Might be worthwhile that we team up and see what the interest is like on this.. If we achieve =>100. the scopes would work out to be about 20 odd dollars each

If already done, Please ignore me

Cheers
Rob.

P.S I tried searching before I posted.

Yep, you guys got chewed up by the ridiculous shipping cost to Australia as well. Even with strengthening Australian $, the final price to one's door will discourage most.

I bought two earlier in the year and they are great. I think they cost me about AU$55 each. They are really worth about AU$30 each but have been good as educational items. They don't perform too badly as little telescopes.

If you had found a way to get them down to AU$25-30 to my door, I would have jumped in for some more. But it won't happen unless the USD collapses against the Aussie.

Here are some threads for you to check out and share with the guys on the other forum:-

Thanks for the response Eric. Over on the other forum I troll on, final price came to ~ 40usd minus shipping costs.

As I work in the shipping industry, I have alot of contacts for the USA>AU leg that I might get some assistance in (mates rates).

Time to do a little digging around.
