Wow – that brought back some memories. I’m kinda glad that as a child, I watched the unfolding drama as a sort of serious but manageable adventure. I recall naively believing that they’d get back home, never fully realizing how close it was nor the full extent of the serious dangers those guys were facing and the extraordinary efforts involved in pulling off this amazing rescue!
