Junior Birds of Prey

On the way up to Broken Hill I decided to shoot some Black Kites which were feeding off the road kill. These are smaller than Wedge Tailed Eagles, so I used the 2x on the 400. Lesson learned - it is not easy to hand hold at 800mm in heat haze when little birds are zooming past.
