OK, time to get serious. I recently decided to take the plunge and start doing astrophotgraphy which had been my dream after 6ish years of observing. Although It took me 3 years to decide after all my observing gear got stolen. This is how I found this site after doing my research.
And since i am writing this. I might as well ask my first question
My equipment is as follows and need some feedback on minimum power requirement when out in the field. I have looked at jumpstarters etc.. you name it. but i am still confused/worried my gear will cark it (and yes I do use he search function :P)

What do you guys use?, and would you recommend a Kmart (motopro) 4 in 1 900amp / 18ah unit? (sealed lead acid)?
and more icing to the cake. and more directed to "iceman"
Love your setup (being similar to mine) but How did you mount your ST80 to the side of your scope. Would like to do the same. Any recommendations on how I can mount my ST80 to my ED100 for guidescope purposes?
