A few kms from urbenville near the nsw/qld border. Not really a decent observing site though the state forest entrance from the southern side of the falls does seem to rise up towards high ground that could well have some cleared areas.

camping is free , new toilet block , no water or power, swimming holes above the falls were nice , below smelt decidedly fishy .

Looks beautiful!
Haven't been camping as such for ages. It looks very tempting.

First shot with cormorant and full height of falls is nice. Imagine seeing water pouring over that full width!

thanks guys

yes possum liked my wife but bit me when I gave him some bannana :D
he was a bit of a knobhead to in that there was a small female with a young one in the pouch(Likely his offspring) who he would chase away whenever she tried to get close.

I don't think it would go full width Eric but It would be good to see when in flood , yeah jjj you campings a bit sporadic with us to but this years been good , we nearlly always head inland these days theres just so much diversity from the coast up to tenterfield you can spend years
visiting all the little parks .

cheers graham

Looks like a top spot Graham, and a lil more than a stones throw from
my place. I'll have to head up there and investigate along with any
possible observing sites.

Cheers,CS
