Hi all

Despite strong gusts (I never realised how wind effects the scope) and average seeing - still looks dusty or smoky in Brisbane - I did some imaging of the Moon.
I like the composition of these images - LX90 8", DMK31 @ prime focus with Registax 5, images at 75% of actual capture (helps hide faults).

Thanks for looking.

Matt,

Well captured and very clear. Did you stack a number of images?

Great work, Matt. Aristarchus is especially well done!

I have 15 avi's from the night before that to process... hopefully a mosaic of the whole visible moon at the time at FL=2032...

Thanks guys.

Hi Frank - I captured about 1200 images of each and stacked about 350 of the better ones in Registax5. It was challenging as the strong wind gusts really bounced the individual images around.
Thanks for looking!
