Nice shots, Olivier...especially M33:D:D

With NGC891, try for a shot with the galaxy in the centre of the FoV. It will look better that way:)

I've always like the monochrome shots. They show a lot of detail without all the fuss of a colour pic.

Very nice images, did you photoshop the diffraction spikes in?

Fantastic pair.. M33 is great, but NGC891 is another story all together.. THe fantastic structure in the background looks great.. not to mention 891 itself..

Great work.

Ps.. You have a refractor... you should not have diffraction spikes :D

thank you for your comments,

Brendan, no I did not; I've made a system for manual focus, with two perpendiculary son fishing (I join an image)

Carl, for NGC891, I wanted to take the little Galaxies that you can see on the superior left corner; you're right:), the B&W shots show more resolution detail..

Alex, thank you very much for your comment.

Nice set, especially M33. I have to say I like B/W astro images, they seem to convey the tonal range so much nicer than colour imho.

Very nice shots - I particularly like the NGC891 and the other small galaxies in the field

Very nice Olivier, particularly the framing in the second image to get the background galaxies.
I'm a fan of diffraction spikes :)
I haven't seen too many images done on the Atik cams, thanks for posting.

Nice pair of images. I do like the detail in M33. Would be a nice one to add some RGB to.

Well done.
