Tremor in Blue mountains today

There was a 2.9 tremor near Katoomba at 5:19 this am :scared:

No damage from what Ive heard.

It's an eerie feeling when that happens.

I've felt a couple of 3's.

Im not realy sure I noticed this one, I would of been in the shower at that time ond only half awake, although now I recall something made me think another storm was getting up.

I do remember one occuring in the BMs in the mid 80s that I felt in Mona Vale (say 120Ks away) where I lived at that time, and the dogs 'sensed' something about 10 secs before I felt it.

As you say eerie feeling.

Didn't feel it in wentworth falls. Funny thing in the news though about some teacher saying it "tripped my home seismometer" :D

the last tremor i felt was this morning before breakfast... i was hungry :D

Ving wrote I think Silicon Chip Magazine had a DIY seismometer article a couple of months ago. It wasn't all that complicated to build.
