My first m42 of the season!:)
Taken through the ed80 using the Canon 20d.
Mounted on the TOT.
54x20sec subs @ iso 800. Total exposure time 17min 20secs.
dss, cs3
This is kind of a farewell image from the TOT.:(
I've really enjoyed pushing this mount to it's limits. But it's time to move forward.
Looking forward to doing a "proper" job on this one in the near future.;)

Its kinda sad to see the Tower of Terror go....sniff sniff.:(
Your new mount has a lot to live up to with the images you have taken with the TOT.
Lovely image of M42 JJJ. nice round stars and very nice detail in there too.
Good luck.

Very subtle j. I really like your non agressive processing.
No more TOT? A HEQ6 next?

Yeah, the TOT lost most of it's appeal once it was no longer the only one in the village (Australia).;)
No, not really.
I should have my heq5pro by the weekend David.

No Jakob, it was taken from my front paddock.
Most of what I took at Barambah wasn't worth posting.

Considering the excellent images you've produced using the TOT with such short exposures Jeanette we can't wait to see what you produce with the new mount and longer exposure times.
Bring on those clear skies :)

Very nice image JJJ considering the very short exposures. I expect we will be seeing some great images from you once you get used to the EQ and get some longer exposures.
Looking forward to your next round of images.
