It's been coming in slowly all morning, and now it's getting thicker by the minute. Literally.
It's getting darker, the wind is howling and keening through the trees and everything's orange.
Very surreal.
My horse has retreated into the shed, he knows something weird is happening.

Lovely blue skies up here...no dust at all. Probably won't get up this far north.

Hi Jeanette
The stuff has been rolling in for a couple of hours now, we can taste the dust in the air and the pool blanket is covered in a thick film of the stuff. No weekly run for me tonight with my local jogging club – I don’t want to be breathing this stuff any deeper into my lungs! I’ve got as much sense as your horse it seems! LOL!
Cheers

It's not as bad as down south, but still you can smell and taste it. There's dust everywhere.

I see i`m the only one who has to clean the dust out JJJ and everyone hopefully all should be gone tomorrow.
I was dusting and mopping all morning to get rid of it.
Cheers Kev.

Now we're starting to get it up here...should've shut my mouth earlier!!!:P:D
It's very hazy now and the Sun has lost quite a bit of it's brilliance. Mind you, it's not dusty like you guys are getting.

When I got back to Tas it was 8 degrees and raining, the weather hasn't varied much in the last 3 weeks, but right now given what's happening up there, I'm content where I am. Hopefully the dust won't cause you too much bother.

Yeah, I am eating dust at the moment!! Its not ultra bad, though visibility is down, and all is hazy/milky, but yuk, dust taste.
Cant imagine what it would have been like in the thick of it
