All taken at near Yanchep about 50km north of Perth
200mm reflector, EQ6 autoguided, Canon 350D
Ended up taking more dark frames than the actual lights due to clouds... :sad:

M31
6 x 300sec ISO800, 10 x darks

Very nice images zip.

I really love NGC6960 and M33 (lots of detail).

And M31, one of my fav object in the sky, good image with the DSLR.

Great shots from a southern location. Sadly I cant access any of those objects unless I move my well polar aligned mount from it's present location :(

Your not wrong, I thought there must have b een a bit if divine intervention in those shots, no wonder its Holy Smoke and not Nebulae.

thanks people, they were my 1st set of shots utilising dark frame subtraction.
i'm yet to move onto using flats, it's a real slow learning process for me..
i gotta get back out there on a cloudless night and get some decent amount of subs.
