Thought I would start a stream for the Pony Club Boys: I will be going up thursday morning with my wife (Debbie) and setting up camp on the lower ground beneath the bottom house.

Will catch up with you all for beers and sky views. Monitoring Ch 8 UHF all weekend.:eyepop:

i must admit i am getting a bit excited also, (although have to work 7x 12 hr shifts between now an then). Is anybody else tenting or vanning it? I will probably set up below the bottom house above the swimming hole near that concrete pad if its still ok to use that area. Channel 8 UHF still ???

I will be arriving about 2pm to 3pm on Thursday. I will be pitching a tent. Could someone please have an esky full of cold stubbies ready for my arrival, as my tent is at least a 3 stubby tent :)

Cheers,
John B

John, I'll have beer chilled ready for you, mate!

I plan to be there bright and early with three kids in tow. They are slowly getting to an age where they can begin to be of use with tent pegs etc.

My weekend is going to be a bit interrupted by my attendance at the Anglican Synod (like parliament for the Anglican church). As a member of Synod, I need to be in Newcastle all day Saturday (up till evening), and most of Sunday. So I will probably go home with the kids and all my stuff on Friday night, and crash in Mike Salway's tent for Saturday night after the first day of Synod. I need to save my energy, because I am taking the kids to Coonabarabran the following week!

Can't wait for Lostock. It should be another great year. I wonder what spectacle the sky has in store for us this year?!

I'll be tenting it too this year.
Except my tent is only a 2 subby tent.
That means that you should be supplying the beers John.;)

I plan on setting up on the flat down near the creek again.

Look forward to catching up with everyone.

I'll try to meet up at the Servos too.
I hope to find a spot of firm ground for the Jayco so it won't get bogged!
I think where I used to camp the ground is too soft.
Looking forward to see you all.

Hi Jakob
Where i am camping nearby there is a concrete slab about the size of a large garage. it is between the bottom house and the river. If i get there before you i will try and secure it for you if you like.

I think i should take the weedeater again to sweep the grass from where the telescopes will go (and probably the tents)
