I am faced with making the best of what I have and something I would really like my 150sn to have is a very good focuser electric would be excellent and as much as it may cost I think its the first option as it seems like the best scope I have for photos.. and the focuser needs to be strong enough to carry a 300d. Also I have found kits for bearing and encoder card/wheel for the lxd 55 mount has anyone here done a rebuild / tune with at kit. I have nearly set up a desk top up home so I will have the LPI tracking soon so I think the need for a better setup focuser will sharpen. Its coming together slowly
thank you
Alex

Howdy
Bintel sell JMI focusers here https://www.bintelshop.com.au/welcome.htm
Go to ATM supplies, then step through the pages there, there are a lot of JMI ones on page 2. JMI focusers will easily carry a 300d and have zero backlash, though they can be a bit costly.
