View Full Version here: : Finally! A break in the clouds.....

After three months of clouds I was finally able to complete this
image. I've been wanting to image it for years so when I went down
under I thought I'll get it -- ya right! Mother nature laughed at me.
This is a wonderfully rich region of stars, emission, reflection, and
dark nebulae. Big file, watch out.

Ok, right! I am sick of you posting such fantastic shots Tom :mad2:... I am either depressed for days when it has involved the use of your ASA or I hurt myself when: my chin hits the floor, somebody smacks me in the gob, my flab becomes gasted or I fall of my chair etc, it's not funny aymore :bashcomp:

Once I get my ASA to a point where it can be ran over the internet I'll give you a go on it. Then you can shoot some northern targets when your southern skies are cloudy. Promise.
