Hi All,

Well, I feel a bit inadequate, only 1 RGB to post. I got in very early tonight before the cloud started to roll in. It was very frustrating, captured 32 avi's to end up producing just one descent RGB. It seemed mostly I could capture the red & green channels but just into the blue channel cloud would drop my histogram off, with Jupiter totally disappearing from my screen on occasions.

I have only one RGB but it is a good one. It has the GRS and three red spots spaced out behind it to the West, wonder if some how they are related?. Some very nice structure in the NEB.

Thanks for looking.
Regards
Trevor

That is still a very, very nice detailed image Trevor, but after 32 avis, I can imagine the tease of the conditions.

I had a quick view of Jupiter last night and it was very hazey even at low magnification.

Trevor,

Just enough time to get a great image.

Excellent image... I got some data last night as well, but not until a couple of hours after this image.

cheers, Bird

Thanks Lester, I started up with a new Tb satellite drive in June and already I have 571 Gb of captures of Saturn and Jupiter. I suppose I shouldn't complain about a bit of cloud considering the number of clear nights I have been getting.

Thanks so much Frank, glad you liked my image.

Thanks very much Anthony, I value your opinion greatly, have had a look at your image and what a ripper it is. Have just sent 49 RGB'S to John Rogers as my contribution to his Jup high res imaging campaign. Have had a good run with the weather over the period of the campaign.
