Well everything is moved... and the clouds/rain have FINALLY gone away.
Had a look at mars last night (first time this year).. could just make out the one icecap and the blue/green color in the centre. Also saw a faint metorite aswell.

my backyard view isn't too shabby.. (Rajah - think Jerra Dam when the milkyway is washed out) which is much better then the wollongong view i had with the steel works washing out 1/4 of my southern sky and the mountain taking away all of my western sky! The only downside is that when I was outside with my scope i was actually sweating! Doh!.. i guess thats the Welcome back to QLD :)

Glad to hear you're settling in Rowena. Don't forget to take your binocs out and have a peek at andromeda tonight if its fine. You'll get a great view from there.

I actually don't have any binoculars.. always keep meaning to buy a pair tho!!!!

:eyepop: How do you survive without them. :eyepop: Oh that's right. You have goto :lol: I love my binocs for things like the LMC, SMC, Andromeda, Lagoon etc. Just gotta love that 6.5deg widefield
