We are very used to spectacular shots coming from the Hubble Space Telescope but every so often an image gets released from a big ground based telescope just to remind us that they can pack a punch too:

It is indeed a brilliant image :eyepop:
It shows that even the smaller earth bound telescopes can take wonderfull pictures.
This object is a good target for medium to large amateur telescopes with a UHC or O111 filter:thumbsup:
Now if only I could do that, fantastic. :eyepop:
